Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced apples
- ½ cup mixed berries
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Ginger Crush olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Cinnamon Pear balsamic
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup AP flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons Fustini's Butter olive oil

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring apples, brown sugar, ginger olive oil, balsamic, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water to a simmer. Let simmer until apples are semi-soft.
- Pour the Butter olive oil into the bottom of a 9x9 baking dish. In a medium mixing bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until all incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared 9x9 pan.
- Spoon the apple mixture evenly over the top of the batter. Top with fresh berries. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes (or until golden on top). Serve warm with ice cream.
