Warehouse Operations Director - Williamsburg, MI
Job Title: Director of Operations- Warehouse
Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Compensation: Salaried $63,000.00/annually
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:
Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars is seeking an experienced Director of Operations for our production, shipping and fulfillment facility. Duties include inventory management, production forecasting, vendor management, budgeting and cost control, quality control, and management and oversight of production and shipping staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forecast fulfillment quantities to meet the demand of 4 retail stores, online orders and resale accounts
- Work with vendors to order product for stocking revenue sources and to meet seasonal demand
- Forecast items and quantities needed to meet fulfillment demands

Work collaboratively with all departments (reseller, store managers, marketing) to ensure products are in full supply and to:
- Maximize efficiencies in bottling, shipping and fulfillment
- Control and manage inventory levels
- Participate in Fustini's leadership team, working collaboratively with staff
- Identify strategic path for operations to efficiently operate and support 3-5 year growth plan
Other Expectations
- Ensure the warehouse and production areas comply with MDARD (Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) standards
- Remain engaged with the essence of Fustini’s, and overall customer experience
- Run weekly staff meetings, using guidelines from EOS
- Attend weekly leadership team meetings
Competencies
- Analytical capability – manage finished and semi-finished inventory and schedule production to maximize service and minimize working capital through the analysis of demand trends and supply lead times from vendors

Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience

- Shipping and receiving experience

- Familiarity with UPS, Excel, emails and basic computer skills
- Forklift operation certification
- Valid Drivers License for operating Fustini's delivery truck
- Familiarity with EOS desired but not required
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand and walk for long periods of time in a fast paced environment
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, Occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Ability to handle moderate noise levels in the work environment

Assistant Store Manager - Holland, MI
Fustini's is looking for an Assistant Manager for the Holland store!
The Assistant Manager is an essential part of the team, working alongside the Store Manager to ensure that the store runs smoothly and that every customer unfailingly receives the “Fustini’s experience.” We use our core values to define company culture, guide decision-making, and shape the overall direction of Fustini’s.

Utilizing Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) tools, we meet regularly with staff to set expectations and goals, making room for everyone to have a voice. As a company, we believe in collaboration and creativity to reach our goals.
Assistants are an important part of our management structure and are expected to lead and delegate as needed, taking full management responsibility in the Manager’s absence.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
EMPLOYEES
- Assist with training of new employees, acting as mentor and guide for new employees.
- Communicate directly with Manager concerning employee performances and staff needs.
- Support the Manager by overseeing the store as needed. Customers, store appearance, and production are the priority. Assistants need to be comfortable delegating to staff when needed.
- Attend performance reviews and termination conversations as requested.
- Check employee hours on Mondays, adding time for any meetings. (L10s and Town Halls)
STORE MANAGEMENT
- Work with Manager to meet store sales goals and improve customer experience.
- Complete weekly inventories (managing them daily): Warehouse (bottles, pantry, labels, accessories, etc.), store supplies (office, tasting, tissue paper, cleaning, etc.), cubes
- Unload pallets of supplies and product*
- Track sales goals and post in store: daily, weekly, quarterly.
- Follow and enforce Health Department guidelines at all times.
- Support Manager with all in-store events.
- Stay up-to-date of all standard SOPs.
- Attend all HAFF time cooking classes, quarterly outings, town hall, market days, and any other company meetings/outings.
- Be well-versed in EOS and the use of EOS tools (L10s, scorecard, VTO, rocks, accountability chart).
- Schedule, attend, and serve as notetaker for weekly L10s. Lead L10s as needed.
- Assist with labeling and bottling projections.
VENDORS/REPS
- Bill marketing partners, keeping accounts current according to their contract.
- Assure marketing partners are displaying clean bottles.
- Provide current marketing partner info to Fustini’s marketing team for website listing.
COMMUNITY
- Support Manager with non-profit partners.
- Set example of good community engagement with staff, volunteering with non-profit partner 1x/quarter.
- Attend community events with Manager as needed.
- Teach virtual tasting classes as needed.
Responsibilities may vary depending on store and staff needs and will be decided by/with Store Manager.
Weekends required.
*Must be able to be on feet for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
