Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Basil Crush olive oil
- 1/2 cup carrots, finely diced
- 1/2 cup onions, finely diced
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 20 Roma tomatoes, peeled, seeded and finely diced (or 2 large cans of San Marzano diced tomatoes)
- 2 tablespoons Fustini's 18 Year Traditional balsamic
- 1 teaspoon Fustini's Citrus Oregano balsamic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions
- Brown beef in Fustini's Basil olive oil over medium heat until all moisture is gone, 15-20 minutes. Add carrots, celery and onion and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Add tomatoes, Fustini's balsamics and dried herbs. Simmer over low heat for 1-3 hours until sauce thickens.
Recipe Note
Makes 1 quart. Perfect for lasagna, make a large batch and freeze for when needed.
