- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3 cups frozen chopped broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Sicilian Lemon balsamic
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add onion and cook until starting to turn translucent. Add ground turkey and continue to cook until the meat is just cooked through, breaking into crumbles. Stir in broccoli and balsamic and sauté, for 2 minutes. Add cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper, and heat through.
- Rub more olive oil on a baking sheet. Roll out the crescent roll on the prepared pan into a 12x8" rectangle. (pressing perforations together). Spoon the mixture down the long way of the rectangle, leaving 2 1/2" on each side.
- Down each long side of the dough sheet, cut a 1" wide x 2 1/2" deep strip, keeping it attached at the center. Fold 1 strip from each side over the filling and pinch the ends together. (Alternatively, criss-cross one side over the other all the way down).
- Brush the braid with the remaining olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
