Easy Beef and Broccoli Ramen
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Fustini's Ginger Crush olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow pepper, sliced
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons Fusitni's Ginger & Honey balsamic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Farmstyle Sriracha (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 individual packages of ramen noodles (season packet discarded)
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons Fustini's Sesame oil
- additional water if needed
- 12 oz steak, cooked and sliced
- green onion and sesame seeds for garnish
Ingredients
Directions
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add olive oil, onion and peppers. Sauté, for 5 minutes until slightly charred. Add broccoli and sauté, for 3 minutes more. Deglaze the pan with the balsamic.
- When the liquid has reduced, add in cornstarch, Sriracha, and soy sauce. Combine well. Break the ramen brick in 1/2 and place it in the pan. Add broth and oil. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover for 2-3 minutes until the noodles soften. Remove the cover and stir in the cooked meat. Continue cooking until the liquid is cooked out. Serve in bowls garnished with green onion and sesame seeds.
Recipe Note
This meal comes together fast with leftover grilled steak. If you need to cook the meat, you can use the same pan and cook in a little more olive oil before sautéing the vegetables.
