Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Fustini's Sage & Wild Mushroom olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's 12 Year White balsamic
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup panko or bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces of goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons Fustini's Tuscan spice blend
- Fresh greens
- 4 hamburger buns
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat Sage and Mushroom olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushroom mixture and sauté, until the mixture has lost most of the moisture. Scrape pan once the mixture starts to brown and deglaze with Fustini's balsamic. Remove from pan to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, panko, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir cooled mushroom mixture into meat mixture. Form into 4 patties. Cook hamburger patties (on a grill or in a skillet until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees f, flipping once). Mix together goat cheese and herbs. To assemble: spread goat cheese mixture on buns, top with burgers, greens and any other toppings you would like.
