Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls, sliced horizontally
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon Fustini's 18 Year balsamic
- 12 slices good deli ham
- 6 slices swiss cheese
- 4 tablespoons Fustini's Butter olive oil
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon poppy or sesame seeds
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, leaving the rolls together as one large group. Place the bottom in a 9x13 foil-lined pan and the top on the cutting board. Combine the mayonnaise and 18 Year balsamic. Spread the top and bottom with the mayonnaise mixture, and layer the ham and cheese on the bottom section of the rolls.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Fustini's Butter olive oil, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and seeds. Replace the top section of the rolls and pour the oil mixture evenly on top of the rolls and let soak for 10 minutes. Cover sliders with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 2 &ndash, 3 minutes to brown the tops of the rolls. Remove from oven and place them on a serving plate, best if served warm.
Recipe Note
It is also possible to kick up the flavor a notch by using a spicy ham or a sliced cheese with a kick-like pepper jack. You could also add very thinly sliced pineapple that has been patted dry and/or slices of banana pepper rings on top of the cheese to give it a sweet and spicy kick.
