Pork Stew with Prunes

Ingredients
- 3 lbs boneless pork shoulder cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 medium onion, rough chop
- 1 whole apple with skin, rough chop (remove core)
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- ¼ cup Fustini's Red Apple balsamic
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
- slice of lemon peel with 4 whole cloves stuck into the peel
- 1 cup pitted prunes cut in half

- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook 8/9 hours on low or 5 hours on high. When you are 1 hour from the end of cooking time add prunes.
