Skillet Country Ham Steak

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds of ham steak slices, trim any excess fat
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Sage & Wild Mushroom olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup Fustini's Cinnamon Pear olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mustard (wholegrain or Dijon)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet, and add ham. Cook until browned on both sides (approx 3-5 minutes on each side.). Remove from pan and keep warm.
- To the same pan, reduce heat, and add the remaining ingredients. Cook until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce begins to thicken slightly. Place ham steaks back into the pan and coat both sides with the caramelized glaze for another 5 minutes.
Recipe Note
Goes great with scalloped potatoes. Great to make if you don't want to make a whole ham!
