Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Fustini's Tuscan Herb olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 lb ground pork sausage
- 3 tablespoons Fustini's 12 Year White balsamic
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup Chianti or red wine
- 4 cups (32 oz) Chicken broth
- 2 cups fresh spinach, lightly chopped, stems removed
- 2 - 14 oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 tablespoon Fustini's Tuscan Spice Blend
- 1 - 18 oz. pk frozen cheese tortellini
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese for garnish

- In a large saucepan add Tuscan Herb olive oil and diced onion. Sauté, until onion is translucent. Stir in sausage and cook until no longer pink.
- Deglaze the pan with balsamic, stir and add red wine.
- Add chicken broth, spinach, tomatoes, cream cheese and spices. Cook 60 minutes on medium until heated through and flavors have meld together.
- Add the frozen tortellini the last 30 minutes of cooking. (If using fresh tortellini - add the last 10 minutes of cooking).
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
