Ingredients
- 8 slices of Italian bread (or 4 larger sourdough slices)
- Fustini's Medium SELECT olive oil
- 3-4 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 4 slices of par-cooked bacon (cooked 3/4 of the way)
- 4 slices of large heirloom tomato
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1 cup shredded romaine
- Fustini's Balsamic glaze

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Drizzle olive oil over one side of each slice of bread and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 5-8 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Turn each bread slice over and spread a small amount of mayonnaise on top. Place bacon and tomato slices on each piece of bread and top with cheese. Place in the oven for another 8-10 minutes until cheese is melty.
- Remove from the oven and top with shredded romaine and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
Recipe Note
For even more flavor, combine a small amount of 18 Year balsamic with the mayo before spreading it on the bread. Also substitute your favorite herb-infused olive oil.
