What is your return policy?

All sales are final, but we offer exchanges on unopened products within 30 days of purchase with a receipt. 

Are your products gluten-free?

Yes, all of Fustini’s extra virgin olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars are gluten-free.

Do your new pourers and pour spouts fit the old bottle style?

Yes! All pourers and pour spouts sold today are compatible with both current and past Fustini’s bottles. If you bring in your old bottles, we’ll replace them with new ones at no cost.

Do you refill bottles?

Yes, we do! Bring your clean, dry, and sanitized Fustini’s bottles to any of our four tasting rooms in Michigan, and we’ll refill them. You’ll also save $1 per bottle. Oils can only go in oil bottles, and vinegars in vinegar bottles, per Michigan Food Safety Standards. To sanitize, run the bottles through the dishwasher and let them dry completely. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse bottles that don’t meet these guidelines.

Why can't I find 200mL bottles of my favorite flavors?

We are phasing out the 200mL size to focus on offering our most popular sizes that provide the best value per ounce. If you're not ready to commit to the 375mL size, we recommend trying the 60mL sampler size.

What is the Fustini’s Rewards program?

Earn points with every purchase of oil and vinegar. For every $20 spent, you’ll earn 1 point. Once you’ve accumulated 11 points, you’ll receive a $20 reward to use on your next purchase, no minimum required!

How do I access my rewards?

To access your rewards, simply click the green gift icon in the top left of the home screen on a desktop browser. Then, enter your email address to either sign in or join.

How do I sign up for rewards?

Shipping

How long does it take for my order to ship?

We ship all orders from our warehouse within 2 business days. Orders placed Friday-Sunday will ship no later than Tuesday.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes! We offer express shipping via UPS 2nd Day Air for $18.95 to addresses in the 48 contiguous states. Orders over $150 qualify for reduced express shipping at $9.95.

What is your flat rate shipping?

Ground shipping is $9.95 to any physical address in the 48 contiguous states. Orders over $150 qualify for free ground shipping.

How do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories?

We ship to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, and the United Nations (NY) using USPS "Flat Rate Box":

  • 1-4 bottles: $15.00/box
  • 5+ bottles: $19.95/box
  • Only 200ml and 375ml bottles are available; 750ml bottles will be substituted with equivalent amounts in smaller sizes.

How do you ship to Canada?

We ship to Canada via USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Boxes:

  • 1-4 bottles: $53.94
  • 5+ bottles: $70.13

Orders with 8+ bottles will require additional boxes and fees.

What should I do if I receive frozen olive oils?

If your olive oil freezes, let the bottles sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours. Cold temperatures won’t harm the oil.

What shipping method do you use?

Our primary shipping method is UPS Ground. Depending on package size, weight, or destination, we may use UPS SurePost or USPS Priority Mail to ensure the most efficient delivery.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive an order confirmation email after placing your order and another email with tracking details when it ships.

I haven’t received my tracking number, what should I do?

Check your spam folder first! If you still haven’t received it or have other shipping concerns, give us a call at (231) 267-3107.

Oil

How are Fustini’s olive oils made?

Our olive oils are cold-pressed from the best olives, harvested early to produce the finest oils. We infuse select oils with natural flavorings, like lemon, rosemary, and more, to create an exceptional experience.

What is extra virgin olive oil?

Extra virgin olive oil is the highest grade of olive oil, cold-pressed without the use of heat or chemicals. It contains less than 0.8% free oleic acid and is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols.

How do you store olive oil?

Store olive oil in a cool, dark place, away from heat and light. Packaging in dark glass helps protect it from UV rays.

How long does olive oil stay good?

For optimal taste and nutritional value, use within 24 months of bottling. Look for the Best By date on our 375mL and 750mL bottles, and the Bottled On date for our 200mL bottles.

Why is olive oil superior to other oils?

Olive oil is fresh-pressed juice from olives and is naturally rich in taste, antioxidants, and nutrients, unlike refined vegetable oils that are chemically processed.

Can I replace butter and margarine with olive oil?

Yes! Substitute three-quarters of the butter in recipes with olive oil. For example, if a recipe calls for 1 cup of butter, use ¾ cup of olive oil.

Why is my olive oil cloudy?

Cloudiness can occur in olive oil when it's stored in cool temperatures or during the bottling process. It’s completely normal and does not affect the quality of the oil.

What are these pellets in my olive oil?

The pellets are solidified waxes or natural compounds that form at cooler temperatures. They’re harmless and can be easily dissolved by warming the oil.

Why are your products more expensive than EVOO in the grocery store?

Fustini's oils are made with the highest quality olives and produced through a meticulous process, ensuring the freshest and most flavorful products. This, combined with small-batch production, leads to a higher cost. Our olive oil is never blended with older olive oil or lower grade olive oil, and it is always sourced from one country for a fresh, distinctive flavor.

Are your olive oils organic?

Many of our artisanal producers do not pursue USDA Organic certification due to the cost and complexity, especially in regions where nearby farms may use pesticides. While some growers use small amounts of pesticide to protect against olive flies, we ensure quality by relying on seasonal rains to wash away any residue and verify that no pesticide remains at the time of milling.

Vinegar

What makes Fustini’s vinegars so unique?

Our balsamic vinegars are aged in various wooden casks to develop distinctive, complex flavors. Sourced from Modena, Italy, they undergo a traditional aging process that enhances their depth and richness. Additionally, Fustini’s balsamic vinegars contain no added sugar, caramel coloring, or other additives, making them a pure and authentic product.

What is balsamic vinegar?

True balsamic vinegar is made from grapes grown in Modena, Italy. The vinegar undergoes a lengthy aging process in wooden barrels, which deepens and refines its flavor. Our balsamic vinegars capture the essence of this tradition, providing an exceptional taste experience.

How should balsamic vinegar be stored?

To preserve its flavor, balsamic vinegar should be stored in a cool, dark place, away from heat and light. Avoid refrigerating it, as this can alter its consistency and flavor.

How long does balsamic vinegar stay good?

When stored correctly, balsamic vinegar can remain at its best for up to 3 years, though it will stay safe indefinitely. Over time, white balsamic vinegar may turn amber in color, but this does not impact its quality.

What’s the recommended ratio of oil to vinegar for a vinaigrette?

The standard ratio is 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar, but feel free to adjust based on your personal taste preferences. For a tangier vinaigrette, simply increase the vinegar amount.

Do your balsamic vinegars contain sulfites?

While our balsamic vinegars contain naturally occurring sulfites, they do not contain any added sulfites, sugar, coloring, or other artificial additives, ensuring a pure and authentic product.

Currently, all orders must be shipped to a single address. But don't worry—multiple address shipping will be available starting in late 2025!
