Simple, in-season fruit with a light vinaigrette and fresh basil. Grilling optional.
Ingredients

3 sweet, ripe peaches
-
3 sweet, ripe nectarines

handful of fresh basil leaves

Basil Crush olive oil

Cinnamon Pear balsamic
Directions
Soak your skewers if you plan to grill your fruit on them.
Mix your vinaigrette: In a sealed jar or container, shake up Basil Crush olive oil and Cinnamon Pear balsamic (or other sweet balsamic of your choice). Play with the ratio until you’ve reached a flavor you love, and don’t forget to shake again before topping your fruit.
Wash, dry, quarter, and remove pits. Skewer peaches and nectarines alternately, and grill for about five minutes if desired. Top your skewers with fresh basil (tear any large leaves) and vinaigrette.
Enjoy these skewers as they are, or on a bed of fresh baby greens with grilled chicken.
